Job Description:
Production Operative
Our client is a market-leader in their field of manufacturing with a state-of-the-art facility in Chertsey and they are looking for a hard-working and reliable Production Operatives to join their team. As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of goods while maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
Duties includes:
Production Line Operations
*Operating machinery and equipment according to company procedures.
*Assembling, packing, and labeling products in line with production schedules.
*Conducting quality checks on products to ensure compliance with company standards.
Health and Safety Compliance
*Following health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
*Reporting any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly to the supervisor.
Stock and Material Handling
*Monitoring stock levels and replenishing materials as required.
*Ensuring raw materials and finished goods are stored appropriately.
Team Collaboration
*Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
*Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors regarding workflow and priorities.
Cleaning and Maintenance
*Keeping workstations, machinery, and the production area clean and tidy.
*Performing basic maintenance tasks on equipment, where applicable.
Additional requirements
*Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
*Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
*Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict processes and procedures.
*Strong teamwork and communication skills.
*Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
*Forklift or pallet truck experience (if applicable).
*Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a production environment.
