We are working with an excellent company based central Wakefield, who are looking for an ambitious assistant accountant to report into the financial director. You will join a small finance team made up of 3 staff members including HR.
This would be an ideal role for someone ambitious and looking to progress within their career. Someone who is an AAT studier looking to continue with additional studies.
Duties will include:
*Bank reconciliations
*Processing high volume purchase invoices
*Weekly payment runs
*Deal with all PL queries (PL mailbox)
*Processing staff expenses
*Process staff time sheets (weekly and monthly)
*Reconciliation of company credit cards
*Supplier statement reconciliations
*Assist with month end duties including; journals and fixed asset register
*Other ad hoc duties within finance
