Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the General Acute team at Royal Marsden NHS Trust. This role will involve providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a busy acute setting, with a focus on supporting patients through complex rehabilitation and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assess and develop treatment plans for patients in an acute hospital setting.
*Provide individualised interventions to promote functional independence and recovery.
*Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
*Supervise and support junior staff and Occupational Therapy assistants.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with Trust policies.
*Contribute to service improvement and clinical audit initiatives.
Key Requirements:
*HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
*Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting.
*Strong experience in general acute therapy or rehabilitation.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Ability to manage a complex caseload and prioritise effectively.
*Enthusiasm for professional development and contributing to high-quality care.
