About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRICS Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic private consultancy based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, retail, and public sectors. You will play a pivotal role in delivering cost consultancy and project management services to prestigious clients, ensuring successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide pre- and post-contract cost management services.
*Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation.
*Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering assessments.
*Administer contracts and oversee procurement processes.
*Monitor project progress, costs, and variations.
*Advise on financial implications and risk management strategies.
*Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
*Ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.
*Prepare and present accurate financial reports.
Requirements:
*MRICS qualified with a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
*Proven experience in a consultancy environment.
*Comprehensive knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
*Strong cost planning, reporting, and analytical skills.
*Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
*Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
*Proficient in relevant software (e.g., CostX, CATO, or similar).
