Job Description:
Are you an experienced payroll professional with expertise in Oracle Payroll, looking for a new challenge? We’re working on behalf of one of our valued FTSE clients to find a skilled and customer-focused Payroll Administrator to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver an accurate and timely payroll service, playing a key role in the smooth running of both weekly and monthly payrolls while ensuring compliance with UK legislation and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
*Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
*Handle end-to-end payroll processing for weekly (c.250 employees) and monthly (c.3,500 employees) payrolls.
*Process employee timesheets, working closely with site accountants and admin teams to ensure accuracy.
*Maintain accurate payroll records, including allowances, deductions, tax codes, and pensions using Oracle Payroll.
*Manage statutory payments (SMP, SSP) and complete forms for DWP when required.
*Administer employee benefits and pension schemes.
*Process third-party payments through Oracle.
*Ensure compliance with HMRC requirements, including RTI submissions.
*Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy.
*Support payroll reporting, reconciliation, and management reporting.
*Provide Tier 2 support for payroll and benefit queries, escalating where necessary.
*Maintain employment correspondence, documentation, and employee HR files in compliance with GDPR.
*Continuously review and refine processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
What We’re Looking For
*Experience working with Oracle Payroll systems is essential.
*Solid understanding of UK payroll processes and legislation, including National Minimum Wage and Average Holiday Pay.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent numeracy skills.
*Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUPs and formulas).
*A proactive, customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
