Job Description:
Human Factors Engineers (across multiple grades)
Location: Reading / Basingstoke Area
Salary: £30,000 - £70,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

You will deliver the Human Factors input to the design and assessment of AWE’s facilities and processes as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Providing Human Factors Integration to the delivery of design and engineering projects
*Providing Human Factors Integration to the production of safety cases
*Developing and maintaining a suite of corporate Human Factors guides and standards
*Performing the role of Human Factors Intelligent Customer on behalf of the business
*Promoting Human Factors across the business
*Providing Human Factors support to wider business activities (e.g. Security, Incident Investigation, Nuclear Threat Reduction, Future Technologies)
Whilst not considered a check list, we aspire for candidates to be able to demonstrate:
*A background in delivering Human Factors design and engineering solutions in safety critical or regulated industries
*Experience of Human Factors methods, tools and techniques
*Experience of applying human factors methods in a dynamic, multi-disciplined environment
*Higher education qualification in relevant a discipline (Engineering, Science, Ergonomics, Psychology etc)
*Ability to manage both technical and non-technical stakeholder relationships
