Job Description:
6th January Start - Rochester School.
Learning Support Assistant required to work with Year 1 children that have Special Educational Needs. This role involves working in a team closely with children that have ASD, Pre Verbal and Non Verbal.

5 days a week - 6hrs per day (Term time only)
Learning Support Assistant Role & Qualification:
*Experience and Knowledge of working with children that have ASD, Pre Verbal and Non Verbal.
*Supportive with a calm and patient nature.
*Ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within this.
*Experience or knowledge using PECS, Makaton or Flash Cards.
*Motivation and a passion to work with children that have Special Educational Needs.
*Happy to assist with personal care if and when needed.
*Qualified with a relevant L2/L3 Teaching Assistant or Care qualification
