Your new Firm
You will be joining a growing, leading independent firm in the heart of Bury who specialise in audit, accounts, tax, corporate finance and payroll. With over 60 years of establishment, this is a great opportunity to be a part of a leading firm, with clear opportunities for development and progress within accountancy. Their client base is predominantly SME’s and OMBs. They have a strong focus on giving their clients the best services and excelling in all aspects of the process. This accounts semi senior role has arisen due to organic internal growth within the firm, seeking to expand their team.
Your new role
You will be joining a team of accounts professionals where you can develop on your current experience and grow in a progressive role and team. Your day-to-day duties will consist of preparing accounts from books and trial balances for their clients, particularly limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, whilst assisting with preparation of VAT returns. Liaising with your manager and clients will also be required to deliver the best service, as well as forming corporation tax returns.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need prior practice experience, specifically 2 years previously. You will also need to be training for either your AAT, ACA or ACCA qualification. Audit experience is also desired but isn’t mandatory. A full UK driving licence will be required and to be able to work as part of a team.
