Job Description:
We are looking to recruit a Team Manager for the Childrens Permanence & Transitions Team within the Social Care Industry. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. Devon is embedding a systemic approach and is currently undergoing a number of changes focussed on reducing caseloads and improving outcomes for families. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team within Devon County Council.
Main duties include:
*Allocate and monitor workloads.
*Resolve service delivery issues within the service area.
*Ensure case work is appropriately planned, critically evaluated and reviewed.
*Ensure the achievement of expected performance according to standards, policies and procedures.
*Undertake audit activity in accordance with the quality assurance framework and develop the team and workers’ performance in accordance with audit findings.
*Chair meetings as required for the service area
*Undertake expected roles within the service area
*Effectively use and manage appropriate financial resources within available budgets.

Minimum Requirements:
*SWE Registration
*1-5 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
