Information Security Analyst – Chorley – Hybrid

Focus: Information Security, ISO27001, Networking, Security Policy
Location: Chorley, Lancashire commute from Preston, Horwich, Bolton, Blackburn etc with a hybrid working model

Key Responsibilities
*Monitor, log, triage, and escalate security alerts and cyber threats to maintain system integrity.
*Track external threat trends and recommend proactive security enhancements.
*Investigate security incidents and support penetration testing activities.
*Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with standards like ISO27001.
*Conduct supplier security reviews and manage vulnerability assessments and remediation strategies.

Essential Requirements
*4–5+ years of experience in an Information Security role, with proven expertise in cyber threat management.
*Familiarity with security controls and risk management frameworks such as ISO 27001.
*Strong hands-on experience in cloud and network security practices.
*Technical skills in one or more areas: web proxies, SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanning, endpoint detection, automation technologies, and more.

Desirable certifications include CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or ISO27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer—or a willingness to achieve these.
