Job Description:
Can you manage a classroom while making Geography lessons come to life?
Are you skilled in using innovative methods to teach Geography and keep students motivated?
Do you have the skills to create a positive learning environment where every student can thrive?
We are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join one of our secondary schools in Leeds on a part-time basis. This role will be for KS3, but will include some Year 10 classes.

Essential Requirements: *Relevant teaching qualifications (QTS or equivalent).
*Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4..
*Effective communication and classroom management skills.
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
*You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role

Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver lessons covering physical geography, human geography, and environmental issues.
*Develop creative and interactive lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
*Foster a disciplined yet inclusive environment, ensuring active participation and a positive learning experience.
*Regularly evaluate progress through assessments, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
*Work closely with colleagues to ensure cohesive curriculum delivery and support for student’s individual needs.
