Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Data Architect to join a dynamic organisation in London with hybrid working flexibility. This role offers the opportunity to design and optimise enterprise-wide data solutions, drive data strategy, and work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment. Location: London with hybrid working flexibility.
Salary: £75,000-£80,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
*Architect Data Solutions: Design enterprise-level data solutions that prioritise quality, security, and efficiency.
*Data Warehousing: Lead the development of scalable, secure data warehouses, lakes, and marts on cloud platforms.
*ETL Processes: Oversee ETL pipeline design and automation using tools such as Fivetran.
*Data Governance: Establish robust frameworks to ensure data integrity, compliance, and security.
*Cloud Technology Leadership: Provide expertise across platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP.
*Documentation and Standards: Maintain technical documentation and establish best practices for scalable data models.
*Collaboration: Partner with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
Key Technologies:
*ETL & Data Integration: Fivetran, DBT, Apache Airflow, Talend
*Data Warehousing: Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery
*Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP
*Programming Languages: SQL, Python, Spark
*Governance Tools: Metadata management, data cataloguing
Required Skills & Experience:
*5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
*Expertise in ETL tools, data warehousing solutions, and cloud platforms.
*Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data governance practices.
*Strong data modeling and database design skills.
*Effective communicator with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
*Experience with real-time data processing and MLOps.
*Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, or similar data privacy frameworks.
