About the role
Warner Hotels, renowned for grown-up getaways, has 16 properties set in some of the UK’s finest locations, including Heythrop Park in the Cotswolds, The Runnymede on Thames near Windsor, Studley Castle in Warwickshire and Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire. Each hotel offers dining, thoughtfully designed rooms, and an impressive line-up of live shows and music – with plenty of areas to relax and soak up the scenery. Guests can try their hand at a new experience with activities such as archery and gin tasting, unwind in the spa and leisure facilities, or stroll through picturesque grounds.
We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to oversee our brand’s social media strategy through to execution and creation of content. This role is crucial in enhancing our online social presence, engaging with our audience, and driving brand loyalty. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative social media campaigns that resonate with our target audience and promote the unique experiences Warner Hotels offer.
The successful candidate will need to be confident to build and deliver both a content and influencer strategy aligning to the 5-year business plan.
The role will report into the Brand director and will manage a local Social Media Executive (looking after 4 hotels).
What we are looking for?
*Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Warner Hotels’ overall marketing goals
*Conduct regular audits of social media performance and audience insights to refine strategies
*Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms to keep our social media presence fresh and relevant
*Create and manage social media campaigns that promote special events, offers, and brand initiatives
*Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations & propositions) to align campaigns with business objectives
*Utilise storytelling and visual content to create engaging posts that highlight our unique proposition and brand
*Oversee day-to-day social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, and community management across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Tripadvisor)
*Monitor brand mentions and engage with followers to build relationships
*Gathering and sharing UGC for Warner Hotels’ social media channels
*Working with agency partners to boost posts
*Work closely with our social media agency to deliver content calendar
*Working alongside our site teams to capture hotel content that is current and relevant
*Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers and brand ambassadors to expand our reach and engage new audience
*Develop and manage influencer campaigns that authentically showcase the Warner Hotels experience
*Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and messaging
*Build a pool of relevant influencers to help increase awareness
*Track and analyse social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and content
*Prepare regular reports summarising KPIs and insights to inform future strategies
*Use data-driven insights to refine content and improve engagement rates
What we are looking for?
*Stay up to date with social and influencer trends and develop innovative strategies to position our brand as a leader in the industry with responsibility of communicating to your team and wider business
*Should have some travel or hospitality experience and understanding of this industry
*Able to manage multiple projects
*Proven track record of leading successful social media campaigns and building brand presence
*Minimum 5 years’ experience in social media
*Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
*Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools
*Creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling and audience engagement
