Job Description:
Are you looking for your next SEN TA role? - January 2025
Hays Education are in partnership with an SEN school in Manchester seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their provision team in January 2025, supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent depending on fit and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
*Providing tailored care and support to students with SEND and SEMH
*Creating a safe and positive learning environment to maximise development
*Working alongside teachers, parents and therapists to support students’ growth and development
Key Requirements:
*Previous experience working in an educational setting or with children
*Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting pupils with SEN
*Effective communication and relationship-building skills
*The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
