Reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth production processes, enhancing efficiency, and delivering on ambitious targets.
Responsibilities of the Production Manager will include:
*Motivate a dedicated team of Production Operatives, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development
*Implement KPIs and visual management tools to track and enhance productivity
*Lead CapEx projects and continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency
*Manage budgets with a focus on cost control and strategic investment
*Maintain accurate product stock levels to meet demanding production schedules
*Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to maximise machinery output, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards
We are looking for Production Managers with the below skills & experience:
*Proven leadership experience, ideally in heavy industrial manufacturing environments
*Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience in budget management
*Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and engage your team
*A data-driven, target-focused mindset with a track record of delivering results
*IOSH qualification is desirable
*Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and leading CapEx projects
