About the role
IT Security Manager
The UK’s leading provider of adult short break experiences, Warner Hotels is a collection of unique properties in great locations across the UK. All short breaks at a Warner Hotel include breakfast, dinner and specified entertainment and activities, ensuring guests make the most of their time away. Situated in stunning locations nationwide including Heythrop Park in the Cotswolds, Studley Castle in Warwickshire, Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire and The Runnymede on Thames, each hotel offers its own personal character that makes every Warner Hotels stay unique.
Warner is seeking a skilled IT Security Manager to lead our organisations cyber security efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of cyber security and be able to manage a small team while interfacing with external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management
*Manage and mentor a small team of cyber security professionals
*Oversee the interface with our third-party Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC)
*Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and policies
*Manage Security Vendor relationships
Security Operations
*Manage and optimize our Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) system
*Oversee Privileged Access Management (PAM) implementation and maintenance
*Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code in our security operations
*Ensure robust security measures for our AWS and Azure cloud environments
*Implement and manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions
*Oversee email security systems and security proxy gateways
*Implement and manage Cloud Security Posture Management
Risk Management and Compliance
*Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
*Manage security product licenses and vendor relationships
Training and Awareness
*Develop and deliver cyber awareness training programs for all employees
*Create and distribute cyber flash reports to keep the organisation informed of current threats and best practices
What are we looking for?
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
*EDR solutions
*Privileged Access Management (PAM)
*Terraform
*AWS and Azure security features
*Network security principles and technologies
*SIEM platforms
*Email security systems
*Security proxy gateways
*Cloud Security Posture Management (specifically Wiz.io)
*Excellent communication skills
*Relevant industry certifications (e.g. AWS, COMPTIA+)
