This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on one of their high-profile commercial contracts in Reading. The company is a well established maintenance provider who are known to progress their engineers career with all the opportunities of training and development.

Based on a modern commercial building the mechanically qualified engineer will be working Monday to Friday on a 8 -5 basis. You will be part of a larger maintenance team undertaking the planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works and emergency response on site.

Key Responsibilities:
*Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks on various plant equipment, including but not limited to: *HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems
*Boilers and heating systems
*Chillers and refrigeration units
*Fire alarm and life safety systems
*Plumbing and drainage systems
*Fire Alarm Tests
*Water treatment - dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
*Water pressurization units
*Chlorifiers - annual inspection, descaling
*Steam Plant
*Condensers, Condenser Returns
*Cooling towers
*Softeners
*Humidifiers
*Hydraulics


Requirements:


*Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ (or equivalent)
*Apprentice trained - desirable
*Building Services Maintenance experience
*Very Client facing
*Willing to do a 1/5 call out

Package:
*£40,000 - £43,000 per annum
*Monday to Friday 8 -5
*25 days holiday
