Job Description:
We are the UK’s leading branded confectionery supplier. Our award-winning team produces creatively packaged luxury chocolates and gourmet sweets for promotional campaigns, events, staff initiatives, gifts and product launches.
We’ve built a reputation for delivering exceptional quality and innovative ideas, and we’re looking for a compliance and HR administrator to help in our busy offices
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
You will need to be able to communicate with all levels of management
Good computer knowledge, word, excel
Role Responsibilities:
As our Compliance & HR Administrator you will be responsible for
· Maintaining our food safety files including training records and working procedures
· Carry out routine checks to ensure all food safety records are being correctly completed at the right time and report back to senior management any concerns
· Complete monthly checks at both our sites
· Check all staff are observing the correct clothing and food safety procedures and advise the senior management team of any concerns
· Work with our Food safety executive on quarterly site audits
· Ensure Induction packs are available for New Starters
· Ensure all staff hr and training folders are filed correctly and up to date
· Complete monthly sickness and absence report for Finance manager
· Liaising with external consultants for various accreditations and audits including Health & Safety, Salsa and ISO
· Answering the phone, email queries and providing general admin support where required
· Any other ad hoc tasks
Skills & Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
· Excellent communication skills
· Previous experience as a food compliance administrator would be an advantage but not essential
· Understanding of SALSA/ISO would be an advantage but not essential
· A great eye for detail
· Excellent computer skills
· Driving licence as working from 2 sites
