Job Description:
Our client is looking to recruit a highly motivated Payroll Manager. Managing a small team, you will be responsible for providing an efficient payroll service. As the department’s specialist on all payroll matters, you will provide technical support to the team and clients.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver an accurate, efficient and timely payroll service
*Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients
*Ensure that payrolls are compliant with current PAYE legislation
*Lead and support the payroll team, overseeing daily workflow
*Continue to develop the growth of the department
*Payroll year end and month end procedures
*Set up of new payrolls & mandatory PAYE documentation
*Improving internal processes
Key Attributes
*In-depth technical knowledge of UK PAYE legislation
*Experience of payroll processing, preferably in a multi-client environment
*Experience managing a team
*Confidence to lead a team to success
*An approachable manner
