Job Description:
Employee Relations Specialist
*Day Rate: £134 - £212 per day (could be more via Umbrella)
*Location: Kent
*Job Type: Temporary
Reed HR have partnered with a company in Kent who are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join the team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who excels in managing complex employee relations issues and fostering a positive work environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide expert advice and support on a range of employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and redundancy.
*Work closely with HR and management teams to ensure employee relations cases are managed effectively.
*Develop and implement employee relations policies to ensure they are compliant with current legislation.
*Lead training sessions for managers on employee relations topics to enhance their understanding and skills.
*Monitor trends in employee behaviour and relations to proactively address issues and improve workplace culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in an Employee Relations role.
*Dealing with complex cases.
*Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices in employee relations.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
*Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact.
*Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
