Job Description:
Our client, a pharmaceutical testing laboratory based in Watford Hertfordshire, is looking for a Quality Assurance Officer with exceptional analytical skills to ensure quality and regulatory standards are met across the business.
Quality Assurance Officer

Our client primarily supports pharmaceutical organisations in the analysis and testing of finished products that require further batch certification and stability testing. In addition, although in small amounts, the site also tests raw materials, unlicensed medicines as well as nutritional veterinary products.
About the Role:
Quality assurance is paramount, especially in the pharmaceutical industry. Quality is of the utmost importance to our client, and they require a thorough and accurate Quality Assurance Officer who is committed to ensuring the high standards of testing are complied with to join their professional team. You will be tasked with reviewing analysis, finding errors and solutions and ensuring compliance to cGMP and GCLP.
About You:
*A minimum of 1 years’ experience in reviewing analytical data generated in a GMP QC laboratory.
*Bachelors or equivalent degree in science (BSc or MSc in Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences).
*Knowledge of cGMP.
*A keen eye for detail.
*Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
*Ability to analyse data with accuracy.
*Experience with QMS.
*Problem solving skills.
*Team working skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Adhere to cGMP, GCLP, and Health & Safety regulations.
*Conduct self-audits and maintain client confidentiality.
*Report deviations, data integrity issues, equipment faults, and out-of-specification trends.
*Ensure analytical data is accurate, authentic, and compliant with client methods and GMP/GCLP standards.
*Manage and review standards, chemicals, inventory logs, and equipment calibration.
*Prepare and review reports for method transfer, routine, and non-routine samples.
*Monitor lab reagents, chemicals, and standards for expiry compliance.
*Generate Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) and ensure batch documentation is securely filed and easily retrievable.
Working Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
