Job Description:
Paraplanner *Location: Office-based, Kettering
*Job Type: Full-time
*Salary: up to £45k
We are seeking a professional Paraplanner to support the Managing Director and a team of Advisers in our Investments & Pensions department. This role is crucial for servicing all aspects of client work with precision and expertise.
Day-to-day of the role: *Respond promptly to all communications.
*Create discussion documents and suitability reports.
*Conduct thorough market research using relevant tools to ensure clients receive the best advice.
*Contribute to and follow the Company Central Investment Proposition.
*Prepare and organise technical paperwork for client meetings, adhering to company guidelines and meeting all deadlines.
*Ensure all client presentation materials are prepared and ready.
*Maintain regular communication with providers, advisers, clients, and administrators to ensure smooth business transactions.
*Keep registers and logs up-to-date and reviewed regularly.
*Address client issues effectively, leading to satisfactory resolutions.
*Stay informed on legislative changes by attending seminars and meetings relevant to Paraplanning.
*Communicate compliance matters with colleagues and ensure all compliance procedures are followed.
*Update colleagues on key technical material changes in a timely manner.
*Assist in producing invoices and other administrative tasks as requested by the Management Team.
*Participate in seminars and events organised by the company.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
*Experience with Intelligent Office Database or similar is advantageous.
*Familiarity with financial planning tools such as Cashcalc, FE Analytics, Selectapension, Synaptics, Dynamic Planner.
*Excellent communication skills across various platforms (telephone, face-to-face, email).
*Strong organisational skills including time management and prioritisation.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Critical analytical and decision-making skills.
*Previous industry experience is essential.
*Diploma qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
