Job Description:
Purchase Ledger Assistant/ Northampton
3 Months Minimum- To start in January - Sick leave cover
Up to £14.50 per hour
Macildowie are excited to be working exclusively with a brilliant business based in Northampton looking to add an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team to support with a sick leave period.
This is a 3 month minimum temporary role to primarily support with inputting of invoices for their subcontractors, but will also support with invoice processing, and ensure a backlog does not build up. They are looking for someone who can get stuck in from day one, and hit the ground running.
The role is fully office based working Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00 - however for the right person they can be very flexible with the working hours and can even offer part time flexibility.
The salary for this role is up to £14.50ph dependent on experience.
This has the potential to move extremely quickly, perfect for someone on a short-term notice or immediately available.
Key Responsibilities:
*Processing purchase invoices onto the COINS system
*Processing purchase invoices accurately and promptly.
*Handling approval procedures diligently.
*Resolving discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
*Collaborating with other departments to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
*Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
Experience & Skills Required:
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
*Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
