An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced P6 Planner to join a leading organisation in the utilities and civil engineering sector. This role offers the chance to work on diverse and impactful projects while contributing to their continued success.
The Role
The P6 Planner will play a vital role in planning and executing projects efficiently and effectively. Using expertise in PrimaveraP6, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop robust schedules, monitor progress, and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
*Developing detailed project schedules using PrimaveraP6 software.
*Collaborating with project teams to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
*Monitoring project progress and updating schedules to maintain alignment with goals.
*Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
*Analysing schedule performance and recommending timeline adjustments.
*Communicating schedule updates and key milestones to stakeholders.
*Providing expert guidance on schedule-related matters to project teams.
The Ideal Candidate:
*Proven experience as a P6 Planner or in a similar role.
*Proficiency in PrimaveraP6 software.
*Strong knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
*Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
*Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
*Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements.
*Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
*Relevant certifications (e.g., PMI-SP, PSP) would be an advantage.
