Interim Financial Accountant (Temp-to-Perm)
Day Rate: £200 - £250 per day
Location: Liverpool
We are working with a well-established organisation in Liverpool that is seeking an Interim Financial Accountant to join their Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and proactive finance professional looking for a temp-to-perm role with a competitive day rate.
The Role
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for:
*Preparing and filing subsidiary and consolidated annual financial statements in line with UK GAAP (FRS 102).
*Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
*Managing monthly capital expenditure reporting and depreciation journals.
*Completing monthly and quarterly VAT returns
*Providing key statistical data for internal reporting and external surveys.
*Assisting with year-end audit requirements and liaising with external auditors.
*Performing HMRC reconciliations and managing payments.
*Maintaining the chart of accounts in collaboration with the Management Accountant.
*Assisting with significant bank transfers and payments in sterling and foreign currency.
*Performing cash flow reporting and forecasting.

Key Skills and Experience
*Newly qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA
*Experience in producing statutory accounts.
*Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to produce detailed reports.
*Previous experience working alongside external auditors.
*Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail.

Desirable Skills
*Knowledge of payroll and treasury functions.
*Full, clean driving licence.
