Job Description:
Your new firm
You will be working for a Top 10 Chartered Accountants Firm based in Manchester, who offer a range of accountancy services including accounts, audit, taxation and advisory and have a strong presence across the North West and nationally. This is an exciting time to be joining the business as the team are going through a period of positive growth and change that will improve their operations, and you will gain exposure to a varying client base and clear career progression as an audit semi senior.
Your new role
You will be joining a specialist team of audit professionals who you can both learn and develop from to help you achieve upmost success in your new role. Your day to day duties will consist of assisting the team on audit assignments for varying clients. You will assist in the planning of the audit, offering information to clients whilst working closely with them and identifying new service lines for them. Your duties will see you reporting into your seniors whilst assisting juniors and any new starters joining the firm, on a day to day basis. Other responsibilities consist of drafting and completing files for year end financial statements.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need previous experience within a practice firm, doing audit work in all stages of the audit; previous accounts experience would be desired but is not mandatory. You must also be part qualified in your ACCA or ACA professional qualifications; finalists will also be accepted. Other skills required would be good interpersonal skills, that you can demonstrate when meeting clients and maintaining those already existing relationships, or new ones you form. You should also show enthusiasm to the new role and show a willingness to learn.
