This Director is absolutely amazing!
Honestly now, any Bookkeeper would be lucky to work for him - he will put his complete trust in you to complete the day to day transactional accounting with zero pressure!
All systems are in place, the processes are smooth - it’s a slick operation and there will be absolutely no teeth problems due to how well the accounts function is currently being managed by the FD and FC.
They are simply hiring as they want an individual to take sole control of the transactional finance so that they can produce more in-depth and detailed management accounts.
The ledgers are clean and tidy, there’s no disgruntled suppliers or customers and it’s a case of taking responsibility of this and keeping things ticking over.
Salary is reflected of depth of experience - for the top end of the budget they’d need you to display experience with Sage Line 50 and the ability to interrogate data on Excel using VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables - in order to assist the senior leaders with their reporting schedules!
Perhaps the biggest appeal is the team! From Director to the lady on reception, there is absolutely no hierarchy - it’s more of a family unit to be honest. Need to start later as you’re dropping the children off at school? No worries! Need to finish 30 minutes earlier to get to an appointment? Don’t sweat the small stuff!
**For your first 4-6 weeks, you will be based at the Middleton office for training and once this is complete, you’ll spend 2 days a week there and the remainder in the Rochdale office (OL12), so you must be able to commute to the two.**
