Job Description:
Trinity House Group are delighted to be recruiting a Finance Business Partner for a well-known, listed business in the Midlands. Your role as Finance Business Partner will be to support a key area for the business in a real value adding position.
The role
Supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will work with business leaders to ensure the delivery of capital programmes through your insightful analysis and challenge. You will be charged with ensuring there is firm governance around the capital portfolio and ensuring adequate controls are in place.
You will be supporting a business area by leading on projects to drive improvements in the reporting which is provided. You will lead on month-end reporting and providing monthly forecasts / budgets, this is where your technical accounting background will come into its own. You’ll also provide analysis and insight on monthly and annual performance against budgets to aid decision making, while also driving actions within delivery areas where activity is off track.
With your analytical mind you will be called upon to identify key risks and opportunities to annual performance commitments and work with the delivery teams to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities. You will also facilitate the production of robust forecasts, budgets and long-term business plans.
About you
*We are looking for, ideally a Fully Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA Accountant.
*With excellent communication skills and ability to deliver information and manage stakeholders.
*Strong proven experience across analytics and management accounting.
*Advanced Excel skills.
