Job Description:
PE Teacher *Location: St Ives
*Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (3 days per week)
*Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
*Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join our team in St Ives. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, covering three days per week in a long-term booking. The ideal candidate will have prior teaching experience and a QTS or PGCE is preferred.
Day-to-day of the role: *Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that promote physical health and teamwork.
*Assess and record students’ progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
*Maintain a positive and energetic environment that encourages students to be active.
*Organise and participate in sports events and competitions.
*Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in accordance with school policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience as a PE Teacher.
*QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE in Physical Education preferred.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Ability to motivate and inspire students.
*Commitment to professional development and learning.
