Key Responsibilities
*Provide occupational health cover to agency staff
*They would actively support the Company health campaigns within the engagement plan improving staff turnover
*Home visits would support long term sick return to work reducing absence
*They will be able to advise the site on any changes in law / legislation etc, minimising the legal risks to the company
*Food handler assessments
*Advise on preventative healthcare
*The main part of the role is to undertake confined space health assessments and fork lift drivers health assessments and night shift workers assessments
*There will be management referrals and advise regarding capability and rehabilitation
Key Skills
Essential
Qualification:
*Degree in Occupational Health
Experience / Knowledge:
*Forklift Truck medicals
*DSE assessment (The assessment can be done by anyone trained in DSE assessment, but Occupational Health need to be involved if any problems are found)
*Night Worker Medicals
*New and Expectant Mothers Risk Assessment
*Skin surveillance
*Engineers’ medicals
*LGV medicals
*Vibration White finger
*Lead, Asbestos, Radiation
