Admin Manager - Criminal Defence Law Firm
Location: London - based near Holborn, City Thameslink
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year
Hours - Monday - Friday, 9.30am-5.30pm
Fully office based then can go to hybrid working
Are you an experienced Admin Manager with a passion for efficient operations and excellent organisational skills? We are currently supporting a well-established, growing criminal defence law firm in their search for a dedicated Admin Manager to oversee the daily administration of the firm. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and collegiate team with a proven reputation for excellence.
About the Firm:
With 25 years of experience, our client is a specialist criminal defence practice representing individuals and companies involved in criminal investigations and proceedings. The firm has been recognised in major legal directories for its expertise and dedication to client service.
Your Responsibilities:
As Admin Manager, you will be integral to the smooth running of the firm’s operations, with responsibilities that include:
*Overseeing the day-to-day administrative functions to ensure the firm’s processes run efficiently.
*Managing office supplies and inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained.
*Facilitating effective communication between departments and external stakeholders.
*Preparing reports and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
*Implementing policies and procedures to improve office workflows.
*Providing training and support to administrative staff.
*Assisting with the development and implementation of IT solutions to enhance administrative processes.
*Maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
*Managing client queries and running the firm’s diary.
The ideal candidate will:
*Have at least 2 years of administration experience (preferably within a legal or criminal defence setting).
*Be proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Be comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with IT systems is a plus.
*Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
*Be committed to the growth of the firm and thrive in a supportive, close-knit team environment.
