Job Description:
Legal Administrator
NG1, Nottingham - No on-site parking available
£23,500 per annum
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Administrator to join our client’s team in Nottingham. We are seeking a highly organised and experienced administrator, with prior experience in a legal setting being beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
*Processing Legal Aid applications, including amendments.
*Managing invoices in line with office protocols.
*Maintaining online diaries, including scheduling hearings and tracking filing dates.
*Highlighting hearings and meetings for proper allocation.
*Following up on outstanding documents.
*Drafting standard letters and basic court documents.
*Coordinating client appointments.
*Communicating with clients, courts and professionals via email, phone and in-person.
*Managing the opening and closing of physical files.
*Taking minutes during meetings.
Requirements:
*Minimum of 1-year experience in an administrative or similar role.
*Exceptional organisational skills.
*Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and records.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
