Quantity Surveyor - Civils and Utilities
Location: Kent
Job Type: Full-time
Basic Salary: £60,000 (Negotiable)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading provider of civil engineering and utilities services. The Role:
The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the financial and contractual aspects of key civil engineering projects. This role involves overseeing cost planning, measurement, contract administration, and final accounts to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
*Preparing bills of quantities, tender documents, and contracts.
*Measuring and valuing works, including cost analysis and planning.
*Administering contracts, including handling variations, claims, and negotiations.
*Managing interim and final accounts preparation and submission.
*Presenting cost reports to senior management and supporting budgeting efforts.
*Evaluating tenders and compiling detailed reports.
*Maintaining accurate records of site activities and materials.
The Ideal Candidate:
*Holds a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred).
*Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil engineering quantity surveying.
*Possesses strong knowledge of civil engineering contracts.
*Demonstrates excellent analytical, numerical, and organisational skills.
*Is proficient in Microsoft Office and cost estimating software.
*Excels both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
