We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team. In this job role, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
*Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
*Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
*Monitor and track the progress of students, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
*Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
*Help with classroom management and behavior support.
*Support students in accessing the curriculum and adapting materials as necessary.
*Promote a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
*Previous experience working with students with SEN is preferred but not essential.
*A genuine passion for supporting the educational and social development of young learners.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
*Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.
*An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
