Job Description:
KRG’s client are a creative communications agency based in the heart of London who work with some of the biggest brands in the consumer sector. Their specialties include having an inhouse studio for content and creative work alongside building their clients integrated campaigns covering influencer, social, events and content. They’re looking for a talented and passionate PR Account Manager to join the team and work on two of their flagship consumer accounts-one in retail and the other in beverages/spirts.
Role Overview:
As a PR Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing PR campaigns across two clients in the retail and beverage/spirits sectors alongside assisting with other consumer focused accounts on a project basis. You will manage day-to-day account activities, maintain strong relationships with clients and media, and help drive the success of campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a solid agency side background in consumer PR at the AM level.
Key Responsibilities:
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a primary point of contact for day-to-day queries and updates. Provide strategic counsel and support clients’ PR goals.
*Develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns, tailored to the retail and beverage sectors, ensuring they align with clients’ objectives and key messaging.
*Cultivate and maintain relationships with key journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other media stakeholders in the consumer sector and secure impactful coverage.
*Write compelling press materials, including press releases, media pitches, case studies, and client reports. Ensure content is aligned with brand tone and strategic goals.
*Track and report on campaign performance, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for optimisation.
*Use media monitoring tools to assess media coverage and sentiment.
*Work closely with junior team members, providing guidance and support in day-to-day tasks. Collaborate with senior leadership to refine strategies and ensure high-quality output.
*Assist in preparing presentations and reports for clients, showcasing campaign progress, outcomes, and recommendations for future initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience:
*You must be a PR account Manager within a PR agency, with previous experience working with consumer clients. Exposure to retail and/or beverage/spirit brands is a huge plus!
*Strong understanding of the media landscape, with proven success in securing high-profile media coverage for consumer brands.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content to different media and audiences.
*A keen eye for creative ideas and an ability to think outside the box to deliver standout campaigns.
*Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple accounts and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*Ability to build strong relationships with clients, media contacts, and colleagues alike.
*A self-starter who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and contributing to the growth and success of the agency and its clients.
