Salary: £95-£115 per day
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? A welcoming school in NG4 is seeking two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their Enhanced Provision, providing 1:1 support to pupils with ASD. The mainstream school are looking to move quickly and appoint both roles for January 2025 starts.
About the Role *Work 1:1 with pupils, tailoring support to their individual needs.
*Encourage participation in learning activities and help develop social and communication skills.
*Collaborate with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to implement effective strategies.
*Foster a nurturing environment, helping each child to thrive academically and emotionally.
*Ensure the classroom remains a positive, inclusive space for all pupils.
What We’re Looking For *Previous experience working with children with ASD or in a similar SEND setting.
*Strong understanding of strategies to support children with ASD, including sensory and communication needs.
*Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the needs of individual pupils.
*Proactive and collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
