Join us at Ibstock PLC as a Materials Science Management Trainee and work towards a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Materials over the next 4 years. You’ll earn while you learn, gaining a nationally recognised qualification and developing the skills needed to step into key roles like Assistant Technical Manager upon completion.

What You’ll Be Doing:
*A vital member of our operational team, you’ll ensure compliance with our Quality, Energy, and Environmental Management Systems.
*Conduct sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials and finished products, playing a key role in maintaining our high standards.
*Help monitor and report on key performance data throughout the manufacturing process.
*Collaborate on developing Safe Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments.
*Investigate and analyse customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Who We’re Looking For:
*Someone practical and hands-on, with a real passion for learning and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
*5 GCSEs at Grade 4-9 (or equivalent) including Maths, English, and Science.
*A-levels or equivalent of 112 UCAS points in Maths, Science, or a related discipline.
*A full UK driving licence is advantageous, along with the flexibility to travel if needed.
