Business Analyst £48,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience
4 days onsite - 1 remote
A newly created opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. In this exciting position, you will work closely with various departments, understanding their goals, challenges, and requirements, and collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement technology strategies that drive business performance and innovation.
Main Responsibilities
The role focuses on the following key areas:
Strategic Alignment:
*Bridge the gap between different departments and IT, ensuring technology solutions are aligned with business goals.
*Deeply understand business operations, objectives, and challenges.
*Engage in strategic planning to prioritise technology needs.
Technology Solutions Development:
*Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
*Work with IT to design and implement scalable, sustainable technology solutions.
Project Management:
*Manage end-to-end technology projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
*Lead cross-functional teams for successful project implementation.
*Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and resolve any issues.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors.
*Communicate project status and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
*Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends.
*Implement process improvements to boost efficiency and productivity.

The Ideal Candidate
Essential Skills:
*Proven experience as a Technical Delivery Manager, IT Business Analyst, or IT Project Manager
*Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate needs into technical solutions
*Excellent project management skills, with a history of delivering successful technology projects
*Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
*Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions
Desirable Skills:
*Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields
*Knowledge of current and emerging technologies within the retail industry
