Job Description:
An innovative software company based in central London is seeking an IT Systems Engineer, to be primarily responsible for the implementation, ongoing maintenance, and continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure (including a wide range of hardware, software, systems and services) within a cloud first technology environment.
This senior Infrastructure Engineer will report to the IT Lead, and the role will be IT projects focused. You’ll lead on the analysis, evaluation, design, testing and delivery of IT solutions. You’ll help solve business problems by improving IT operations, business processes and user experience through the use of technology.
You’ll apply modern IT practices to help streamline the management, operations and delivery of IT systems and services, driving forward technological change.
This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office based in Liverpool St. and 2 days working from home). The role is paying up to £70,000 maximum and offers fantastic benefits, including share options, 25 days holiday and private healthcare.
To be suitable for this role you’ll have:
*Strong knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure management, systems administration and implementation, particularly in the areas of cloud computing & applications (SaaS), application & patch management, MDM, IAM, SSO, virtualisation, storage, networks, and system/network monitoring & alerting.
*Expertise in a wide range of technologies including: Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft 365 & Azure, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Jamf/Kandji, Google Workspace, Jira, Slack, OpenVPN, Cisco Meraki, VMware vSphere, VMs.
*Experience creating scripts using one or more scripting languages (such as Bash or PowerShell) to automate processes and tasks.
*Knowledge and experience of integrating cloud (SaaS) applications.
