Job Description:
Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Programme Manager - Animal Management & Science to join our Animal Management & Science team at Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA) on a permanent full-time basis.
Programme Manager - Animal Management & Science
The Programme Manager for Animal Management & Science at BCA is responsible for leading a dynamic learning area aimed at achieving high student success and satisfaction. This role involves meeting annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and program standards in collaboration with senior management, enhancing teaching quality, and driving curriculum improvements and strategic expansion in both funded and commercial courses.
In addition to overseeing daily operations and curriculum development, the Programme Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders to enhance student employability and skills in English and Maths. This position also focuses on team development through self-assessment and continuous improvement, and it plays a crucial role in promoting the curriculum and college through external engagements to boost its reputation.
General responsibilities include creating a safe and inclusive educational environment, advocating for student welfare, and engaging in continuous professional development to stay current with industry trends. The Programme Manager - Animal Management & Science is also expected to embody the college’s values, maintain high personal and professional standards, and handle various tasks aligned with the managerial role.
