Job Description:
A Shropshire based food manufacture are looking to recruit a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer (with strong electrical skills) for their production facility based in North Shropshire.
As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.
Role:
*Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
*4 on / 4 off Days and Nights (7am/pm to 7pm/am) (one week days, one week nights)
*Opportunity to work in a modern food process manufacturer

Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:
*Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
*Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
*Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
*Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS
*Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
*Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements
Experience and skills required:
*Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC level
*Multi skilled, strong electrical skills / experience
*Apprenticeship trained
*Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
*Food manufacturing experience would be very desirable
*Knowledge of servo drives and inverters
*PLC knowledge would be advantageous
