Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Receptionist/Gym Instructor in Tunbridge Wells. This role is suitable for someone who can work as part of a team or individually.
This vacancy is for a permanent part-time role of 22.5hours per week, with the possibility to increase to full-time (37.5 hours). Salary dependent on experience - circa £25k per annum pro rata.
We are looking for someone who has a positive, can-do attitude and can use their own initiative, excellent interpersonal skills essential, with a genuine interest in the health and fitness industry.
Previous experience working in a gym environment would be preferable, but not essential.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- to be customer service focused and deliver an excellent service to all customers
- to be responsible for administrative tasks, including spreadsheets, sales reporting and monitoring, promoting and marketing of social media
- to be responsible for opening/closing of the gym when required, including keeping it to company standard
- to drive sales of memberships and products such as supplements
- to respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- when necessary teaching classes (circuits, HIIT, indoor cycling etc) and carry out gym inductions
