Our client, based within the Public Sector in East London, are looking for a customer focused Talent and Resourcing Coordinator to join their team. The post holder will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, focusing on proactively identifying, targeting and engaging with best talent.
The successful applicant will ideally have public sector experience working in a recruitment role, have excellent customer service skills, be a team player and willing to step in to assist other team members where needed, understand the full recruitment process, and must have experience using Talent Link or iTrent.
Specific Accountabilities of the Role
· Responsible for being the first point of contact, ensuring all service requests and enquiries related to social workers and supporting roles are processed with high levels of customer service and delivered in a timely manner within the services SLA and KPI targets. This includes managing the recruitment inbox
· Subject expert matter on using TalentLink or any recruitment replacement systems
· To support the Talent and Resourcing Advisor in identifying areas requiring improvement, working out possible solutions, and managing the implementation of agreed solutions.
· To support hiring managers with drafting engaging adverts which reflect the Council’s brand and attract the right level and quality of applicants across varied media channels. This includes developing and updating social work contents on the website
· Establish and maintain working relationships with external candidate providers. Managing a balanced recruitment service delivery and engaging the services of specialist agencies (via the Adecco Framework)
· Work closely with wider HR team to ensure the ’growing our own pipeline’ process is maximised, NQSW posts are filled, and agency workers are released (Social Care).
· To provide resourcing guidance for customer queries covering all aspects of the recruitment cycle in line with service level agreements and business rules.
· Providing professional advice to hiring managers by adding value to job descriptions ensuring they are clear, concise, relevant and attract the right candidates.
· Take ownership for respective vacancies ensuring that all recruitment activities are
completed in a timely manner and ensure quality of service.
· Provide cover on any core/nuanced business support tasks within the team as and when required.
· Ensuring management information reports (e.g. establishment analysis, role analysis, and savings forecasting from agency workers leaving) are accurate and produced in a timely manner.
· To develop and maintain administrative systems and procedures to provide administrative support for Recruitment projects.
· Responsible for updating recruitment tracker and any other management information relevant to the recruitment of social workers. This includes inputting recruitment data on SharePoint, uploading Talent Link with council adverts, and Oracle or replacement systems.
· Updating oracle system or replacement systems with up-to-date new starter information regularly so that bi-monthly establishment reports are reflecting accurate vacancies and filled positions and for workforce data.
· Managing the onboarding process for the recruitment of agency workers in line with agreed workflow process (Social Care).
· Processing Barring Service (DBS) online applications for new starters and renewal applications for existing staff, maintaining the DBS spreadsheet and ensuring certificate and expiry date information is uploaded onto Oracle and their HR File (Social Care).
· Assist with pre-employment checks for new starters by checking online Health and Care Professions Council (SWE) Registration details for Social Work candidate and save to file (Social Care).
· Contribute to continuous improvement and development of the service through team participation and development of self. This includes configuration and updating of Applicant tracking Systems, Onboarding platform.
