Job Description:
Due to continuing expansion our client, a national service company, is actively seeking a proactive, dedicated and ambitious Account Manager to achieve growth in enquiries, revenue, and profit, through the effective management and development of customer accounts
Reporting to the Partnership Manager and working remotely, duties to include:
*Active account management of existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, and proactively developing new business opportunities through networking and participating in tenders to achieve preferred supplier status with customers,
*Completing corporate tenders and communicating within all areas of the customers business
*Generate and complete a targeted number of quality business appointments each week.
*Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients’ requirements are met and ensuring brand consistency.
*Identification of all establishments and customer key contacts, maintaining details, call/visit information & preferences in the company’s CRM system (Salesforce).
*Ensure the effective planning and prioritising of client contacts, ensuring all key contacts are visited & contacted regularly.
*Use reporting systems to monitor accounts progress, identifying areas for improvement and plan accordingly.
*Create and monitor a territory plan to report potential and actual profitability for your accounts for the financial year.
*Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfilment.
*Negotiate contracts whilst maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards.
*Use available tracking/reporting and diary systems to maintain an awareness of personal performance against agreed standards.
*Liaise with Sales and Marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products.
*Collect and analyse sales data and trends, stay up to date with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales.
As a successful candidate you will have experience within an account management role, a background in travel, education or hospitality sectors would be desirable but not essential, with a proven track record of converting new business and displaying exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities together with the ability to work independently and professionally whilst out in the field, confidence to hold meetings at client sites and commercial awareness to interpret the meanings and outcome of each meeting.
As this is a remote field-based role, a full, clean driving licence is essential.
