Job Description:
Are you an experienced (10+ years PQE) Medical Negligence Lawyer looking for your next challenge?
MFK Recruitment are lucky enough to be working with a major regional law firm who are now seeking a Medical Negligence Lawyer to manage and grow a caseload of complex, high-value medical negligence claims, involving life-altering injuries and multi-track litigation.
Being listed on the Law Society Medical Negligence Panel and/or AvMA membership is essential.
Partner track is available for the right applicant.
What is the role?
* Take charge of developing the Medical Negligence Division, fostering and expanding relationships with Charities and other key organizations.
* Conduct thorough investigations, gather medical evidence, liaise with medical professionals, and instruct experts to support claims.
* Driving strategic business development efforts to secure referrals and cultivate valuable connections.
* Preparing a detailed schedule of financial losses
* Composing formal statements for submission
* Engaging and coordinating with medical specialists
* Briefing and liaising with Counsel regarding legal matters
* Engaging in discussions and negotiations with opposing counsel
* Maintaining regular communication with clients
What are we looking for?
* Able to demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional client care and managing cases effectively
* A lawyer who is actively participating in marketing and business development activities
* Ideally, bring experience in building and nurturing relationships with charitable organizations.
* Qualified solicitor or legal executive with a proven track record in handling medical negligence claims. (10+ years PQE)
* In-depth knowledge of medical negligence law and experience managing a varied caseload
* Excellent client care and communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to sensitive cases
