Quantity Surveyor - Kilmarnock - £35-40K
Glenelly Infrastructure solutions has an exciting opportunity for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our Power & Civils Distribution business based in Glenrothes. Glenelly Infrastructure Solutions has been awarded the framework for the maintenance and modernisation of existing underground LV network and new services for SPEN. While this particular framework will run approximately 5 years, we expect to be awarded more of these frameworks in the near- and long-term future. Role and Requirements: The Quantity Surveyor should have experience of:
: Building Bills of Quantities from project drawings
· Ensure timely and accurate commercial reporting of the framework.
· Generate and issue POs
· Assess and process subcontract payments
· Client invoicing
· Work with the Project Manager to ensure the overall financial success of the framework.
· Critical experience includes competence with SAP. Experience in civils / utilities projects or a history of working within frameworks and DNO projects would be of specific interest.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Quantity Surveyor who is able to contribute to the success of the project. If you are a junior, assistant or trainee QS looking to make a step up and further your career, or have experience we are keen to speak to you. Hours of work are 40 hours Monday to Friday.
