Job Description:
IMC Group is looking for a skilled Cardiac Physiologist to join our clients echo team on a full-time permanent basis, you will work in a supportive environment, adhering to BSE reporting guidelines, and providing excellent care for our patients.
What you will do:
· Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines.
· Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate action as needed.
· Submit reports and archive study images according to contractual requirements and local SOPs.
· Collaborate with hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals.
· Assist with patient bookings, ensuring patient information systems are accurately maintained.
About you:
· Experience performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms.
· Hold British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) accreditation (or equivalent).
· A full UK driving license.
· Solid understanding of Data Protection Act, Information Governance, and Caldicott Principles.
· Willingness to embrace new technologies and methods.
· Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
