As the leader of our Finance transformation, you’ll spearhead a revolution in how we deliver financial services across the organisation. You’ll inspire and guide a talented team, overseeing critical functions like Accounts Payable and Receivable and Payroll. Your strategic vision will shape the future of our end-to-end Finance processes, from Purchase to Pay and Order to Cash.
The role involves collaborating with the Transformation Lead and Finance colleagues to ensure alignment with overall strategic objectives, driving process improvements and transformation, and maintaining high-quality service delivery.
We deliver safety, warmth, and comfort to homes and businesses across the community. Whether you’re supporting from the office or working on the front line, every role plays a part.

*Deliver transactional services as per agreed service levels, across Financial Accounting (Accounts Payable, Receivables, Management Accounting, Low value sourcing, Payroll, Treasury ops)
*Collaborate with the COEs to operationalise and deliver on standards, processes, policies and practices
*Support employees, corporate functions, business partners and leadership with standard and bespoke requirements and queries
*Lead and support transition of additional roles in a Finance, as and when required

*Experience in Service Delivery
*Knowledge of finance best practice
*Experience in Service Management
*Experience of managing transition of processes
*Excellent knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting Standards
*Knowledge of Internal Controls
*Experience in Process Management and Improvement
*Experience in People Management, with strong "people orientation"
*Experience successfully managing and leading teams
*Experience in Communication and Influencing, with an ability partner and influence, challenge and negotiate
