Job Description:
Finance Analyst
£40k
Hybrid Working (2days in the office, 3 from home)

12 month FTC
Key Responsibilities:
* Consolidate and analyse financial data, including budgets and income statement forecasts, aligning with company goals and financial standing.
* Propose creative solutions and recommendations to reduce costs and enhance financial performance.
* Compile data to create detailed reports on the financial health and potential risks of the company.
* Develop financial models, perform bench marking, and analyse business processes.
* Conduct studies on historical, future, and comparative performance, while developing forecasting models.
* Identify key financial trends and provide actionable recommendations to senior analysts based on comprehensive analysis.
* Monitor and assess the financial status by comparing actual results against forecasts.
* Reconcile transactions by identifying discrepancies and making necessary adjustments.
* Continuously update industry knowledge to stay informed on new developments and innovations in the field.
* Collaborate with management to influence and support long-term strategic decisions across the organisation.
* Lead process improvements and policy development initiatives to enhance the financial function.
Person Specification:
*Part Qualified (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with commercial finance experience.
*Proactive, resilient, adaptable and "can-do" team player with a drive to make a difference
*Excellent communication - ability to articulate orally and in writing, complex and detailed information in an easy to understand manner to all levels of the business
*Attention to detail, highly analytical and comfortable dealing with large datasets
*Ability to deliver with a flexible approach when required
*Strong Excel and System skills
