Metrology Technician required. Our client is a manufacturer of specialist cast parts for the automotive industry. Due to the ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Metrology Technician to join their team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the scanning of parts using equipment handheld 3D Scanning Ball equipment.
Metrology Technician Position Overview
*Utilising 3D wireless handheld scanning equipment for inspection purposes
*Engaging in quality related issues to ensure corrective actions
*Complying to ISO16949 & 9001 standards
*An understanding of measuring software is desirable
*Formulating 8D documents on issues
Metrology Technician Position Requirements
*Previous experience in a Quality Technician role or similar
*Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
*Based in a commutable distance of Coventry
*Experience working with Faro Arm, 3D Scanning or CMM equipment
*Qualifications within manufacturing / engineering is desirable but not essential
Metrology Technician Position Remuneration
*Salary £28,000 - £31,000
*Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00. Friday 07:00 - 11:00
*33 days holiday, including bank holidays
